Telemedicine is simple and convenient to use. You do not need to download anything, nor create an account. All you need to do to access your telemedicine video session through Doxy is to click your personalized link. Your counselor or provider will text or email the link to you. For each session, you need a device and an internet connection. Depending on your device, you may need speakers/headphones, and a microphone. See below for more details.

To utilize video telemedicine services at Signature Health, you will need one of the device options below:

  1. Cell phone - Most have a data plan and/or connects to WiFi. This may be the easiest option because there's a speaker and microphone built in. For better sound quality, you can plug in headphones.
  2. Tablet - Some have a data plan, but not necessary because they connect to WiFi.  Most have speakers and microphones built in as well. For better sound quality, you can plus in headphones.
  3. Desktop computer - Connects into either an ethernet or WiFi. For a telemedicine appointment, you will need to have computer speakers plugged in. Another option for audio is to plug in headphones. Secondly, you will need to have a microphone plugged into your desktop. Some headphones have a microphone built in.

The recommended internet connection is at least 750kb/s download and upload speeds.
