We offer patients of all ages full‑skin exams and assessments for common and chronic concerns, including:

Eczema
Acne
Psoriasis
Folliculitis
Rashes & irritation
Skin lesions (moles, growths, discolorations)

Procedures We Provide

Our dermatology services include:

Skin biopsies for diagnosis

We do not offer:

Major or minor surgical procedures
Cosmetic procedures

Signature Health is partnering with Forefront Dermatology to expand access to dermatology care for patients in Ashtabula County.

Dr. Michael Chen, MD, FAAD, sees patients of all ages and will provide services one day per month at Signature Health Ashtabula.

At this time, dermatology appointments are only available to established patients of Signature Health.

Appointments are available every 3rd Friday of each month from 10am-2pm.

How do I pay for care?

Signature Health accepts:

Medicaid
Traditional Medicare
Some Medicare Advantage plans

For patients without insurance, we offer a sliding fee scale program for those who qualify. This means payment is based on your income and household size. We can also help get new patients set up with Medicaid. See a list of accepted insurances.
