Signature Health Expands MAT Program to Include Treatment for Stimulant Use Disorder
Posted on:
As of April 1, 2026, Signature Health expanded its Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT) program to include treatment for stimulant use disorder (StUD), including cocaine and amphetamine‑type (methamphetamine) stimulant use.
This expansion allows patients to receive care for stimulant use disorder within Signature Health’s existing MAT program, integrating evidence‑informed clinical protocols, behavioral health services, and coordinated nursing and provider workflows. By building on a familiar and well‑established model of care, patients can access coordinated treatment without the need to navigate a separate program.
Stimulant use disorder treatment is now available across all Signature Health MAT locations, increasing access for individuals who may already be engaged in care or who are newly identified through clinical assessment. MAT services, including treatment for stimulant use disorder, are offered at the following health center sites:
While there are currently no FDA‑approved medications specifically for stimulant use disorder, Signature Health’s MAT program incorporates evidence‑supported pharmacologic options, along with behavioral health services such as individual therapy, groups, intensive outpatient programming, and peer support. Care is highly individualized and grounded in harm reduction principles, with established MAT visit schedules and team‑based care models maintained.
This expansion reflects Signature Health’s continued commitment to innovation in addiction medicine and interdisciplinary collaboration, allowing the organization to meet the evolving needs of the communities it serves and support patients throughout their recovery journeys.
